Favorite Towel
Just wanted to say thanks to Lisa and Melissa for this great towel! I know it sounds crazy, but we really do love it! The little towels for infants, you know the ones with the hood in the corner, were so not doing the trick. Maybe Max just has a big head, but they never stayed on him, and the towel just wasn't big enough to actually keep him warm until I could get him dried. This is a full size towel, with half of a hand towel sewed on to make a hood. It is just what we needed. I think that I will make a couple more so I have one when I am doing the laundry.

Conference Weekend
I love conference weekend! A seminary teacher (Brother Troyer, for those of you who know him) once said that he thinks of conference like Christmas. I'm paraphrasing, but he explained that we celebrate Christmas because it's when Christ came to earth to teach; and Christ "comes to earth" to speak directly to our prophets to give revelation that we then hear at our conferences sessions.
So we should be celebrating each time we receive inspiration from our leaders, especially because it is meant for us at this time in our lives.
Every time I go into a conference session with a prayer in my heart, truly seeking guidance, I come out with the answers I was looking for. I love that feeling of importance to our Heavenly Father.
But even with all of the great advice we receive, it can be hard to keep those eyelids open the whole time. As you can see, our family likes to occasionally "listen" to conference. Uh Huh ;)

I guess HE has an excuse.
